sil and jeremy...

life is messy. there isn’t a person on this earth that doesn’t agree with that statement. before we met our stories were messy - really, really messy. Each of our life stories read more like discombobulated tragedies. Both of us moving through life managing deep seeded sadness and disappointments alone.

then we met...

Meeting was not planned. In fact, it was resisted. It began with an offer of coffee which led to turning the offer down for 3 months. Thanks to sweet persistence & life altering opportunities, that offer of coffee was finally accepted. It was the beginning of a new story.

That coffee date led to a beautiful miracle baby that defied all odds. That baby changed our world. He was a sign of all the joy that was meant for us. That baby boy brought hope. Every day we feel so blessed to have been chosen out of 7 billion people in the world to be his parents.

Since then, we have forged through life together. We’ve had opportunities to change our tragic stories into unpredictable ways to help others. Together we are determined to be the family known for the way we show compassion, empathy & help others. That is our family’s life mission. It is something we see our son carrying on & it brings joy to our hearts.

We’ve had more reasons to celebrate & laugh than we have had reason to cry.

Life is messy. It still is. Nothing comes easy. But together, we have a story of US that is one of epic adventure, fortitude, kindness & love for others & each other. It’s a story we are incredibly grateful to have.
